    ANGELS ASSISTING ALWAYS

We have such wonderful volunteers in our congregation!

    Angels Assisting Always!

With spring arriving, there may be some chores around and outside your home that need taking care of, but you're just not able to get to it for one reason or other.  Please give AAA a call to arrange for help.  That's what we're here for.

If you are good at doing little chores like this, please give AAA a call to volunteer to help.

Need a ride to church on Sunday?

Call AAA through your deacon, or call the church office, 541-469-3725.

Please consider signing up to help.  There are sign up sheets in the office.  There's no better feeling than to be able to fill every need.

    All requests are confidential.

    FYI

  • The Ladies Bible Study and Prayer Breakfast continues, and welcomes anyone who would like to join us for study, good food and fellowship every Tuesday morning, 7:30 a.m., here in the church fellowship hall.

  • The Men's Bible Study and Breakfast will also continue, meeting on Wednesday mornings at 8:00 a.m. in the church fellowship hall.  We are on hiatus now, but will resume again in September.   Again, if you would care to join us for food, study and fellowship, we invite you to meet with us.  We are beginning a new study of the Book of Judges.  Come join us for coffee and discussion.

  • Soup Supper and Game Night every Wednesday  at 6:00 p.m.  Join us for good food and great fun through July.  We will then resume again on September 15th.

  • STUDY FOR WOMEN:  Bad Girls of the Bible.  Please join us as we start this new book on in February.  We meet on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month, in the church library.   If you have questions, call Linda Hunter, 469-4919.

  • Audio Tapes...

The Sunday Morning worship services are now being recorded by sound technician Mark Trailor.

The tapes will be in the Library in a tape file.  There will be a list so you can look up the Sunday date which will say the tape number.  There is a small tape recorder on the table so you can listen to it in the library, or you may check out the tape like you would check out a book.

Please return them as soon as you listen to them.  If you have questions or comments about how the system is working, please contact Bill Sloat or Sue Ross.

CHECK IT OUT:  If you have never checked out the church library, or haven't for awhile, you should.  Our church library is a blessing we should all enjoy.  If teaching a class or for your personal Bible study or devotions, you will find resource material in Bible dictionaries, commentaries, and Presbyterian theology.  Check out the good selection of fiction, biographies, books on spiritual growth and family living.  In addition to books, there are cassettes and videos.  Stop by and browse in our pleasant and comfortable library.  When you find something you wish to check out, there is a pad to write the date, title of book, cassette, etc., and your name.  When you return it, enter the date returned.   Sue Ross

    Sunday Morning Study

Our traditional Sunday Morning Study continues on Sunday mornings from 9:00 - 9:45.  Choir members will be dismissed early for their warm-up and rehearsal.  We are studying the scripture passages for the morning worship.

    Wednesday Morning
    Men's Study

The Women’s Bible Study/Prayer Group meets Tuesday mornings at 7:30 in the Fellowship Hall. Come for breakfast, a study of the Psalms , and prayer requests.  Newcomers always welcome.  We care and we share!

We always have a special time in this group led by  Ora Hess.

WEDNESDAY EVENING SOUP SUPPER AND GAME NIGHT

We will have a special schedule during Lent, to incorporate worship services with several other churches in the area! Regular soup supper and game nights through July, then back in September.

Although this isn't really an Adult Education Program, it is simply too fun and wonderful for us not to mention here with our endorsement.  Fellowship helps keep us close as a church.  Come and join us from 6:00 pm to ??? on Wednesdays.  The soups will be delicious, and the games following bring lots of fun and laughter.

     Adult Christian Education

Adult Christian Education Committee is developing a slate of educational opportunities.  Growing in your faith, understanding and insight into God, the Bible and Jesus Christ is always blessed by God.

As a committee we have developed a survey that will be included in the worship bulletins soon.  Start thinking now:  Would you like a "Couples' Study," how about "Current Events and Our Faith," traditional Bible study, topical study such as Parenting, Grief, Marriage, etc.

We would also like your feedback regarding time of groups -- evening, afternoons, weekdays, mornings.  Prayerfully ask what God is calling you to commit to for your spiritual growth and the enrichment of others.

If you have any suggestions, please give David Hunter or Pat Ferguson a call.
